Our 2019 AGM took place in the clubrooms on 4th January with the Adjourned AGM taking place on 11th February.
This was the best attended AGM in recent memory with over 50 members in attendance, which goes to show the high level of enthusiasm which currently surrounds Carnaross GFC.
Our development committee gave an excellent presentation outlining the full scope of works to be carried out and a full outline of all costs involved and also what work has been carried out to date including all costs already incurred. The committee asked members to give their backing for construction work to commence, and while all members present were aware of the high costs involved in the development and the level of fundraising which will still be needed, the project received the overwhelming support to commence for the meeting. Construction Work is due to commence in early March.
It was also agreed on the night that Family Membership should be increased from €50 to €75 with Friends of Carnaross GFC entry remaining the same and student membership also unchanged
